Versatile, multidisciplinary, international.
I'm an internationally trained UX designer who nerds out on delivering delightful products and experiences. I love the challenge of enabling convenience with good design.
I grew up in Istanbul but call many places home. Before becoming a designer, I obtained an academic mashup of engineering and marketing from Bogazici University in Turkey. Then, I moved to New York to study Design Management at Pratt Institute. One of my projects got an award in Core77 Design Awards 2016 under "Service Design" category.
I worked at globally notable companies such as Time Inc, Refinery29 and Tommy Hilfiger and more and freelanced for fast growing startups from New York, San Francisco, Dallas, London and Istanbul.I called Berlin new home and currently work for foodora, one of the fastest growing entities of Delivery Hero group.
When I am not designing, I write about design and usability on Harvard Business Review Turkey., conduct workshops in regional UX conferences and guest lecture in some universities. I am currently working on a very exciting project to build education in UX and Design thinking in Turkey. When I am not working, I try to immerse myself into new cultures and experiences, dreaming about getting my part-time singing career back.
